Dubost Colas Pradel was founded in 1920 by Mr Pierre Dubost, a cutler's son and maker of the famous Laguiole knives.
Production started in a small workshop and grew thanks to the founder's son Mr Jean Dubost, whose name signs the flatware and kitchen knives line. The Laguiole knife has been crafted for over 200 years and the bumble bee found on the range is an emblem from that region.
The blades, made from high grade stainless steel, is stamped, ground and then polished with over 25 manual production stages. Handles made from coloured resin, they are dishwasher safe and all feature the trademark Laguiole Bee on the handle. There is also a range of cutlery finished in chrome and all presented in beautiful timber boxes.
